"I'm the NRA Press Photo"
Ruby Fox is my Aunt. It was not planned that way...she just happened to marry my Uncle Art who happened to be my mother's brother. But I feel very lucky to have her in our family.
Pan Am Games, 1987, Indianapolis
A
three time Olympic shooter, she became the first USA female to win an Olympic
Medal in a women’s Olympic shooting event. That was at the 1984 Olympics in
Los Angeles in which she tied with Linda Thorn and they were forced into a shoot
off. In the end...she missed the gold by one point. But you would never have
known it at our house. I can still remember how excited everyone was.
Now
retired, Ruby reps for Smith and Wesson and is an active lifetime member of the
NRA.
